Artis—Naples announced that patrons Ellen and David Ryan have pledged to match all donations made through Dec. 31, dollar-for-dollar up to $1 million, in support of the Naples Philharmonic.
“We are deeply grateful to Ellen and David Ryan for this remarkably generous gift, which will provide critical support for the Naples Philharmonic at a time when the world is gaining momentum and we are looking forward to a full and robust season,” CEO and President Kathleen van Bergen said. “Ellen and David have been part of the Artis— Naples family for many years, and their unwavering support helps us sustain our mission to provide the community with the very best in the visual and performing arts.”
The announcement comes as Artis— Naples is poised to announce its full 2021-22 exhibition and performing arts season in the coming weeks.
As longtime patrons and subscribers to the Pops, Broadway and Lifelong Learning series, the Ryans said they hope their pledge will inspire the community to further support and engage with Artis—Naples.
“We never leave there without smiles on our faces,” the Ryans noted. “If life in Naples can be described as a ‘Hot Fudge Sundae,’ Artis—Naples would be the cherry on top!”
Home of The Baker Museum and the Naples Philharmonic, Artis—Naples is unique among cultural institutions nationwide, equally dedicated to both the visual and performing arts featuring artists of global distinction.
